Jesus Walked On Water

Jesus walked on water

After feeding the 5000, Jesus immediately made his disciples get into the boat and go before Him to the other side of the lake while He sent the multitudes away.

And when He had sent the multitude away, He went up to the mountain by Himself to pray. When evening came, He was alone there. But the boat was now in the middle of the sea, tossed by the waves as the wave was strong.

In the fourth watch of the night, Jesus went up to them, walking on the sea. Suddenly his disciples looked up and saw a figure walking on the water. They were troubled and cried out, "It is a ghost!" But Jesus said to them, "Take courage, it is me, don’t be afraid."

And Peter answered Him and said, “Lord, if it is You, command me to come To come to You on the water."

And He told Peter, "Come," and when Peter had come down out of the boat, he walked on the water to go to Jesus. But, when he saw that the wind was boisterous, he was afraid, he lost faith and began to sink. He cried out and said, "Lord, save me!"

Immediately, Jesus stretched out His hand and caught him, and said to him, “O you of little faith, why did you doubt?" When they got into the boat, the wind ceased.
